Mon papa

One year ago, my father was at his sister’s cottage, walking up a hill, when he started to experience chest pains…last June, he underwent bypass surgery and ended up healing much faster than the doctors had expected. He promised himself that he would return to the cottage, exactly one year later to test out his “new” heart — and he left today to do so. I think it’s such a poetic gesture and I am very grateful that he has the chance to do so. Climbing that hill while breathing easy will be a tremendous achievement; I just wanted to share…

Je t’aime papa xoxo

Isn’t it interesting how these moments become the BIG moments in your life! It is definitely the “moments” that make a family memory — I have discovered this in my own life~~~
